"and profound" is a digital photo detail showing approximately 5.5 x 4.5 inches of a piece titled "placeholders," 27 inches wide x 52 inches high. This piece consists of several texts printed, written and drawn on at least five layers of vellum cut up and collaged onto plywood. The piece reached its current state late last year (2002).
